Grandfather Mountain has a great wildlife area and a mile-high swinging bridge. Reservations are required, and cell service is spotty nearby, so make sure you download tickets ahead of time!
Linville Caverns where you can learn about blind fish, experience complete darkness, and experience a living cave.
